I am flying to the Netherlands for 4 shows with Brigitte Demeyer and Chris Donohue tomorrow. We had a great trip as a trio to the UK back in frozen February. Brigitte and I had a great duo tour in Sweden back in March (including four fabulous shows with Israel Nash Gripka and Johan Orjansson). So it should be yet another great opportunity to make music with good friends. Looking forward to it.
There is a bunch of stuff on the horizon, including at least one Daddy duo date, a few solo dates, Emmylou Harris dates and Trigger Hippy dates.
There is not much more to report right now, other than travel and performance. I will admit that it is a bittersweet thing for me right now, going away from my family. My daughters are growing up fast…but all parents feel that WHOOSH of life flying by.
As Michael Corleone said, “That is the price you pay for the life you choose.”
And with that, I say goodbye for now. See you in Holland. Or Texas. Or Colorado. Or Norway…or Sweden…
