Heartfelt sympathies from all the Nashville Kimbroughs to the Mississippi McCormicks. I know you will all miss Newton. My Mama said she had a real good visit with him just a couple of weeks ago, and that he was still making her laugh on his death bed. Note to self: keep your sense of humor!

Educator and sports ambassador Joe Franklin has left us, as well. Our hearts go out to his wife Penny and our friends the Gravelings, who are here in Nashville all the way from their home in England for Joe’s funeral.
